The Steam 3-Day Rule — What you need to know

Steam requires two accounts to be friends for a minimum of 3 days before a game can be gifted between them. This is a Steam security policy we cannot bypass. Your game will be delivered on day 3 after you add us as a friend — not instantly. We will notify you via email when the gift has been sent.
